America's National Independence Day Parade took place July 4th on Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Street before a crowd of over 300,000 spectators. The National Archives and the Washington Monument formed the setting along Constitution Avenue for the National Parade.
The parade consisted of approximately 20 marching bands, 15 floats, 20 specialty units (military, giant balloons, equestrian, municipal entries, drill teams), and 15 celebrity/dignitary participants. Marching Bands & Guards were invited based on recommendations from each state's Governor.
