New Band Bucks Program
We now have the ability to offer "band bucks" from major retailers, restaurants and more. This program will be managed slightly differently than our local band bucks program. The cards work exactly the same way as our local band bucks cards but you will need to order what you want and pay at the time of order. We will not keep an inventory of these other cards as we do for ShopRite, Stews, Kohls and Big Y. You will still earn 2% trip credits on most, and 1% on some others.
We’ve posted a list of retailers that are currently participating. You can offer these cards to your friends, co-workers and neighbors for purchase just like you can with ShopRite, Stews, etc. but they must be paid at the time of order. We will probably process orders once each month depending on the volume and demand. The turnaround time is typically three business days from the time we place the order.
Band Bucks really don't cost anything and are a great way for the Bobcat Pitcrew to earn funds. Here's how they work. We get certificates from stores, at a discount. The public can then buy them at face value to be used at stores/restaurants. This is one of the easiest ways to raise funds because it doesn't really cost anyone anything. Everyone goes shopping and one of the best parts is that 1-2% of what is sold by the band or guard member goes to their trip credit account.
Terry White has agreed to be the coordinator for these cards in addition to the regular band bucks cards. Checks should be made payable to "Bobcat Pit Crew". Returned checks will be subject to a $20 fee.
